If you've got FirstClass set to connect automatically when you start it up, you won't get access to the Login screen - if you have accounts on more than one server this is essential, because you need to be able to select which server you want to get connected to! So... here's how to turn it off... in just a few easy steps!
1. Click on "Connection" in the menu bar
2. Choose "home.fc Setup..." from the menu that appears*
3. In the next screen that appears, there is a box labelled "Log in automatically", take the tick out of this box
4. Click on Save.
BINGO!!!!
* The name appearing before the word "Setup" will depend on
what you've called your settings file. For example, if you're connecting
to server 2, and didn't change the defaults, this file would be called
"home.fc"... but it might equally be called something like oufcnt2.fc!
