or... give a little... get a lot back! |

How to set
up that vital bit of info... the résumé! It's easy to do...
and it's a way of letting people know who you are - not just in the way
that you write your messages or in which emoticon you decided to use today!
It doesn't have to be a lot of writing... try putting in a piccie...
be honest... be funny... but GET IT COMPLETED!! THIS IS IMPORTANT!!
:o) Your piccie won't even be that distorted in later
versions of FC!

Open up the
FirstClass client... go online

on "File" in the menu bar |

you're happy you've dished enough dirt about yourself... just close the

a piccie to the top left hand box... and become horribly distorted... FOREVER... |

up a piccie of yourself - you might already have one scanned in, or one
from a digital camera, maybe you're artistic and have "created"
one in a graphics package... whatever! |

the area of the piccie you want to use |

up the FirstClass client... and go online |

up your résumé (as you did when creating it originally) |

the small box, top left hand corner, right click |

the menu that appears, select paste |

in horror at your horribly distorted picture!! |

down your résumé... wait for others to laugh! |

ALMOST
TOOOOOOOO EASY!

Bear
in mind that FirstClass only has a palette of 45 colours available for
you... so unless you're an absolute whizz with graphics - you will look
like a blotchy freak!!

Another
way of getting a piccie on your résumé... if you've got FC
5.6 or above! |

Open
up your résumé |

Step

Right
click in the main white area and select "Insert File..." |
|

Step

Browse
until you find your piccie - make sure it's in an acceptable format (gif,
jpeg or bmp) and not too big - something around 60KB-ish! |

Click
on the piccie, and press "OK". Bingo! One okayish looking picture
inserted! :o) |
