Engine Links... and other bits about searching - you lucky people! |

A selection
of search engines - all of which have their plus and minus points - my
personal favourite is Google - always
seems to come up trumps, whether it's looking for links for a web report
or tracking down that annoying lyric that's buzzing round your head. If
you know of any other good ones - LET
ME KNOW!!

Excellent
search engine... put in a quote and it'll find it... a song lyric... a
file name... anything! Makes you look like a complete know-all! Always
my first choice... Try it yourself... There's even a new images
search facility - which is fantastic!!

in a question... it offers you answers! Not a search engine I use myself,
but it's nice 'n' user-friendly... and came recommended to me!! |

Looks
fairly similar to Excite and Yahoo... not bad really! It has a useful way
of relating your search to ones other people carried out... have a go yourself! |

Submit Express... it says it'll bung you on to the main 40 search engines...
for nowt. Don't know how good it is though... but it might be worth a look!
Could save tracking down all those pesky "add url" links yourself
