How to design a web site like a pro!!
(believe these tips, believe anything!)
1.  Make sure your background is stimulating on the eye. Like this one for example! Using large images (see point 12) in the background is especially good - how about making it animated too!!
2.  Make sure you change font regularly, to keep your reader interested in the page.
3.  If you use links, don't worry about checking them, they're bound to be right - click here for more information on link verification.
4.  Here's a good tip - emphasise words by using underlining!

5.  When you insert images, don't stick to jpegs or gif files, use a mixture! If you're using Netscape 4.5, then the image below will confirm how good this approach can be!

Wonder why I don't show up in Netscape...

6.  Make sure you don't use relative links for images - absolute links are much better. See the difference an absolute image makes with the following:

I might show up if I was a relative link!

7.  Use of colour is important - so important that the more colours you can fit on the page the better - if you can make your text the same or a similar colour to the background - do!
8.  Right align your work - it makes it easy to read!!

9.  Use as many graphics as possible - if you can... make 'em animated! See how great they can look...

This fantastic animated effect really adds to the page!

10.  Why not use lots of fun effects? Wonder what the wandering cursor is about? It's a fantastic scripting effect! Great! Put in as many as you can!!! Guaranteed to show on any browser!!

11.  Try knot two spell cheque yore page. Ewe wont halve the same speical quality too yor work if ewe due.

12.  If you can use really large graphics on your page, do - people enjoy making a cup of tea while they load and the effect is always worth waiting for! Although the following image competes for size with the animated gif... it's still large enough to be GREAT!!!

Make yourself a cuppa tea, I'll be a while

13.  Navigation tools are for wimps. If your audience can't find the back button on their browser without you pointing it out - then what's the world coming to? Home page link - noooooooo!
14.  Blinking text - excellent in Internet Explorer!
15.  Scrolling text - use it - especially good in Netscape Navigator!!
16.  If you're going to use tables, use pixels to define the width - the more pixels the better. After all, horizontal scrolling is good for your health! Fabulous opportunity for exercise for your audience... they'll really thank you for it!!
17. Use sound as much as you can! People love it! I've chosen Seasons in the Sun for this web page - and doesn't it make all the difference? Good news... the code works on every browser!!!
18.  Try using links to pages that fill the screen... Take a look at the following page! People really enjoy full screen navigational challenges - they'll love you for it!
19.  Oh... the use of popup windows is always advisable - the impact the popup window I used on this page shows just how fabulous they can be! And everyone loves them. The more you use, the better!

20.   Everyone has a floppy drive - linking your image files to A drive will save space and delight and enthrall your audience! Try a link to a web page that lives on a disk as well - like this!

What's that funny whirring noise when you load the page?

21.  Like tables? Use them one inside the other... the more the merrier! The only thing better than right aligned text is text that goes down the page in a thin left hand column! See?! Not only is it a great effect, but it makes reading your work loads easier for your audience! And ease of use is key!!

22.  Make sure you leave lots of blank space at the bottom of your page, people love scrolling vertically almost as much as they enjoy horizontal scrolling!
