Zip stuff... or... how to squish stuff without injury!!

What is a "zip utility" anyway? Basically, it's a bit of software that can do a couple of really handy things. The first is to compress files - so they're much smaller... particularly handy when you're e-mailing stuff... and secondly, they can put a load of separate documents into one zip file - so you can e-mail (or submit work) files as one file, rather than lots of separate ones!

Zip package... What do I think about it?
  WinZip 8.0

The lastest version of WinZip's ace zipping utility - and there's a shareware version given out by the OU. It's easy to use, reliable and everyone uses it. I've used it for ages, and though it's an evaluation version, it doesn't expire... and you can carry on using it. Not that I'm recommending you do, no siree, part with cash and use it guilt free ;o)
Info-Zip's Wiz This is the one that comes bundled with the rest of the T171 software, but... to be honest... I've not used it much! It's completely free and fairly easy to use. Have a go with it, you might just fall in love with it!
